Greg Oden: Bust-ed

Street clothes have become Oden's uniform

ESPN is reporting that Greg Oden is done for the season…again. He will have microfracture surgery on his left knee and will miss the rest of the 2010-11 season.

Oden has not played in a game since last December because of surgery to his knee cap. He was selected first overall in the 2007 draft by the Portland Trail Blazers, one pick ahead of Kevin Durant. Let the Sam Bowie references continue to rain down on Oden and the Blazers.

Losing Oden yet again for an entire season spells doom for the former standout from Ohio State. He can now consider himself lumped into a category featuring the likes of Kwame Brown.

At least the Blazers’ big man curse seems to have no effect on Marcus Camby.
